Himachal Pradesh, located in the heart of the western Himalayas, is often referred to as Dev Bhumi, or “Land of the Gods.” This enchanting region is considered the abode of various deities, and its landscape is adorned with both stone and wooden temples that reflect its spiritual heritage. The state boasts a rich tapestry of culture and traditions, contributing to its distinctive identity and making Himachal Pradesh a captivating destination for travelers seeking natural beauty intertwined with a deep sense of spirituality.
Travelers from Ahmedabad, Mehsana, and Palanpur will arrive in New Delhi in the early morning aboard Rajdhani Express Train No. 12950, which arrives at 0:30. Those traveling from Mumbai, Surat, and Vadodara will take Rajdhani Express Train No. 12951, arriving at 8:30. All travelers must reach New Delhi Railway Station before 8:30, either by air or other means, and then proceed to Platform No. 10 outside the Ajmeri Gate parking area to board the train to Chandigarh. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, the group will gather at the famous Rock Garden, located approximately 250 km away, which takes about 5 hours to reach. It is important to note that travelers from Ahmedabad should purchase tickets from Ahmedabad to New Delhi or from Mumbai to New Delhi and mention their boarding station's name. For those going directly to Chandigarh from Ahmedabad, they can take Train No. 19411 (Sarvodaya Daulatpur Chok), which arrives at Sabarma Junction in the morning and passes through Mehsana, Unjha, Sidhpur, and Palanpur, reaching Chandigarh at 7:30 AM the next day.
After breakfast in Chandigarh, the tour will continue to Kufri. After sightseeing and optional horse riding, the group will depart for their hotel in Shimla.
Following lunch, the group will meet at the mini-train station for a self-driven ride. They will then visit the Jhaku Temple, which can be accessed via cable car or trekking. After exploring the temple, the group will return to the hotel. Transportation will be arranged until they reach the temple base, after which they will proceed on foot or via the cable car.
The group will leave Shimla at 7:00 AM, heading towards Manali via Kullu. This journey covers approximately 200 km and is estimated to take around 10 hours.
The group will visit local sites in Manali using small vehicles, including the famous hot water springs and the Hadimba Temple. After sightseeing, there will be time to shop on Mall Road before returning to the hotel for relaxation.
The group will leave Manali at 7:00 AM, visiting Snow Point/Rohtang Pass and the Atal Tunnel (at their own expense and risk). A complimentary visit to the Atal Tunnel will be included if possible.
The group will depart for Dalhousie at 6:00 AM from Manali. This long journey covers approximately 300 km and is expected to take around 14 hours.
After morning tea and breakfast, the group will proceed to Khajjiar. Following lunch, they will visit Mall Road and Subhash Chowk (at their own expense and voluntarily).
All company catering, hotel services, and facilities will be provided in Dalhousie. The group will depart for Amritsar at 6:00 AM after morning tea and breakfast. They will head directly for a complimentary visit to the Wagah Border, where entry is on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited capacity for witnessing the patriotic beating retreat ceremony. After visiting the Wagah Border, the complimentary package will conclude with a drop-off in Amritsar city. Depending on time availability, travelers can visit the historic Jallianwala Bagh and the Golden Temple by auto-rickshaw at their own expense. It is essential to remember that the cost of the hotel, tea, breakfast, or food arrangements in Amritsar is not included in the tour price, so those will be at travelers' own expense. For fine dining, Bharwan Da Dhaba Restaurant is recommended.
