Jagannath Puri, a sacred pilgrimage destination in Odisha, India, is home to the iconic Jagannath Temple, dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra. This temple is the focal point of the renowned Rath Yatra festival, which attracts millions of devotees who come to witness the grand chariot procession. In addition to its religious importance, Puri offers tranquil beaches along the Bay of Bengal, further enhancing its cultural and spiritual significance.
Tourists from Ahmedabad will arrive at Raipur Airport on their own, either by train or air, at their expense on the scheduled date. From Raipur, they will depart for Champaranya by shared vehicles. Upon reaching Champaranya, there will be an overnight stay at a Dharamshala or Guest House. In the evening, they will attend Mahaprabhuji's seat and aarti, followed by rest at the Dharamshala or guest house.
Early morning at 7:00 AM, visitors will have darshan of Mahaprabhuji's birth and 6th seat, followed by a visit to Aparas, where they will touch Zariji’s feet and offer service and pooja. Tea and breakfast will be served at 8:30 AM. After lunch at 12:00 PM, check-out from the Dharamshala or railway guesthouse and depart for Raipur Railway Station. From there, the group will take a reserved train to Jagannath Puri.
Arrive at Puri Railway Station in the morning, followed by pick-up and transfer to the hotel. After freshening up, visit the Jagannath Temple by rickshaw at personal expense, then visit the famous Golden Beach near Chaitanya Chowk in Puri. Return to the hotel on your own.
After tea and breakfast at 8:00 AM, the group will go on a sightseeing tour, including Ramachandi, Chandrabhaga Beach, the world-famous Konark Sun Temple, Dhauli Shanti Stupa, Bhubaneswar's ancient Lingaraj Shiva Temple, and the Sakshigopal Temple. Return to Bhubaneswar Railway Station at night and depart by train to Kolkata at your own expense.
Arrive in Kolkata at 5:00 AM and proceed to the hotel. Rooms will be allotted based on the check-in time, and travelers arriving early will have to wait in the hotel's waiting area. After check-in at 2:00 PM, visit Kolkata's local attractions, including Belur Math, Dakshineswar Temple, Kalighat Kali Temple, Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, and shop at the New Market in Dharamatla. Return to the hotel in the evening.
At 4:00 AM, depart by non-AC vehicle for Gangasagar. Travelers may experience difficulties due to the long journey, hunger, thirst, heat, and crowds. The vehicle will drop the group on one side of the bay, after which they must make their own arrangements (at their expense) to reach Kapilmuni Temple and Gangasagar Bathing Ghat, including the boat ticket, Tata Magic vehicle, and e-rickshaw. An additional Rs.500/- per person will be charged for expedited service. Expect some crowding on the boat. Boat timings may change due to natural processes like tides. Travelers must follow the tour manager’s instructions accordingly.
At 10:00 AM, travelers will check out from the Kolkata hotel. Those returning by train will travel to the railway station based on their own railway ticket timing, and similarly, those traveling by flight will proceed to the airport for their journey back. This marks the completion of the tour.
